As we gear up for the largest retail time of the year, it is extremely important that you are able to reach your consumers.
According to the Pew Research Center, approximately 96% of Americans own a mobile device of some kind. 81% of Americans own smartphones. Knowing this data, it is important that your website is mobile friendly because nothing is more frustrating than trying to navigate a website that is not mobile friendly. This frustration can often lead to shopping cart abandonment. It would suck to know that someone was very much interested in your product and didn't finish their transaction out of sheer frustration with your website. Millennials dislike nothing more than inconvenience and if you have caused them to have to put their mobile device down to go dust off their laptop that they BARELY use (because let's face it if your site is not mobile friendly, it probably will be just as frustrating to access on a tablet, depending on their level of patience and most millennials have NONE), they will just as soon go to your competitor even if it costs them a few dollars more.

If you tried to take the first image and put it on the tinier screen of a mobile device, it smushes everything, as is, causing the user to have to zoom to eliminate pushing the wrong buttons. Often zooming doesn't even help.The text and the images are appropriately resized in a mobile friendly website. Not having a mobile friendly website is just not a very pleasant browsing experience overall. Customer service has to transcend beyond just correspondence with the customer. As an online brand, customer service starts with your website.
